Inspire: Owl Nursery

My dear friend D is pregnant with her first baby.  While the parents know the sex of the baby, the rest of us will have to wait until delivery day.  The Mommy-to-be was hoping for a gender neutral nursery in turquoise, mint, and pops of orange.  She also wanted to incorporate owls into the room.

Best Feet Forward

I wanted to share a quick little, free project that I finished over the weekend.  It was such an easy craft, with leftover supplies I already had around the house.  It started with four wooden knobs that were replaced during this Ikea hack.  I sprayed the knobs with some high gloss blue spray paint, that was leftover from previous projects.

Inspire: Primarily Dr. Seuss

One of my dear friends is expecting her first baby.  They are choosing to be surprised and waiting until the birth to find out the gender.  So when we chatted about nursery themes, she expressed wanting to use primary colors (good for a boy or girl), and a Dr. Seuss theme.  Here are a few ideas to inspire a special space for the new baby.
