I'm excited to be participating in Young House Love's Pinterest Challenge. My "pinspiration" was this sweet little chalkboard made by Mark Montano.
I started out with an empty frame that I spray painted a high gloss gray.
I then took the thin wood piece from the back of the frame, and used chalkboard paint to completely cover it. It took two coats. A little hot glue joined the two pieces together...and it was ready to hang.
This was such a quick project, and adds a great personal touch to any space.

Great job! I did a similar chalkboard for our kitchen and I love to use it to stay organized. Chalkboards are the best, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteYes they are! I find myself looking around and thinking what else can I make into a chalkboard.
