Right Now Red
Red is one of the hot colors trending for Fall. It exudes warmth and energy, and adds a pop to any room. I like red, because it is a very classic, timeless color. Red is an excellent choice as the main pallet in a room, or as an accent. And no one ever says that red is boring.

Five Under Five- Halloween Decorations
I really feel bad for Halloween. When it comes to decorating, it seems to get passed over in favor of other holidays like Christmas. The stores can't wait to get rid of their Halloween supplies, and you often see x-mas trees displayed right next to pumpkins and costumes. I personally love Halloween, and am sharing five cheap ways to make your house spooktacular!
1. The first idea comes from the Halloween Queen herself, Martha Stewart. Simply use this template to cut out a spooky shape. Affix to the inside of a lampshade, and the outline pops. Cost= Free

Inspire: Primarily Dr. Seuss
One of my dear friends is expecting her first baby. They are choosing to be surprised and waiting until the birth to find out the gender. So when we chatted about nursery themes, she expressed wanting to use primary colors (good for a boy or girl), and a Dr. Seuss theme. Here are a few ideas to inspire a special space for the new baby.

Creating a Vignette
Websters defines a vignette as any small endearing scene, view, or picture. Creating a vignette in your home is a great way to add a little design interest to any space. The perfect vignette is easy to create if you keep these 4 simple concepts in mind.

Magazine Style
As I was clicking through the September/ October issue of Lonny magazine, I noticed this room designed by Lisa Sherry. This gorgeous mirror specially caught my eye, because I have the same one! I wonder if she bought it for $59.99 at Homegoods like I did.
