Ever since I had to take one of my picture collages down to make room for this vintage hutch, I have been searching for another spot to hang some art. This is the view from my kitchen, and as I stood at the counter chopping veggies for dinner the other day, it hit me. There is room around the Avett Brothers poster for more...much more.
I started by collecting items I already had to add to my new art wall.
The cow head came from a flea market, and I think he is so cute. I had been looking for a permanent place for him for awhile now. I also added an antique ruler for some warmth.
I recycled an IKEA picture frame from the now defunct picture wall to frame this cute free printable from LayBabyLay.
After a little photoshopping, this adorable photo of my pup has a graphic quality that gives it some edge. No matter how edgy she may look, her little pink tongue is still so sweet.
And finally a salvaged "D"...in red of course.
Watch how it all came together....
Very cute!! I actually have that same cow head! It was in my Mom and Dad's kitchen when they bought their house and used as a kitchen towel rack. :) I inherited it when I moved out.
